The Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs), yesterday i.e. on 13th November 2018, via notification no. G.S.R. 1107(E) notified the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of 75th Anniversary of Hoisting of Tricolour for the first time by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Port Blair) Rules, 2018.
As per these rules, the coin of Rs. 75/- (seventy five) denomination shall be coined at the mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of “75th Anniversary of Hoisting of Tricolour for the first time by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Port Blair”

Design –
Obverse Side : This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “Satyamev Jayate”inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “ भारत” in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol and denominational value “75” in International Numerals below the Lion Capitol.
Reverse Side : This face of the coin shall bear the portrait of “Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose” saluting the flag on the background of cellular jail. A numeral 75th along with inscription “anniversary” is depicted below the portrait. The inscription “Pratham Dhwajarohan Divas” in Devanagari script and “FIRST FLAG HOISTING DAY” in English shall be written in the left and right periphery of the coin. The date range “30.12.1943 – 30.12.2018” in international numeral shall be flanked on lower periphery of the coin.
